ubuntu and GIMP

I actually have a series of 11 paintings by Lorin Ruggierio, which are scheduled for high quality scanning. However, I wanted to start right away with a new website. So, I snapped the pictures on an overcast day, then edited and color corrected on the spot.

GIMP, another reason to use Ubuntu, and the Debian packages in general
