After upgrading to Karmic Koala, I had moment of questioning, would my new microphone work with Karmic??? The answer is Yes. Using the interface I was able to find and enable the c03u. Bingo! No pain, no strain. It's working! Now I can go back to work on the guitar piece "Route 58". So the good news is that you still use audacity and the Samson condenser mike C03U. Happy recording!

Karmic Koala: audacity + the Samson C03U
After upgrading to Karmic Koala, I had moment of questioning, would my new microphone work with Karmic??? The answer is Yes. Using the interface I was able to find and enable the c03u. Bingo! Hi! I recently bought the C03u mic and there's a lot of low-level noise when recording on Linux. Did this also affect you and if that's the case, were you able to find a fix for it? It's really a pity to have to use Windows in order to get decent quality. Thanks!
